Shake it like a Polaroid picture

This is what I wore to Yasmin's last night and again sorry for the bad quality of the photo. I promise once I get a camera there shall be no more mobile photos.  Anyway this jumper has got a funny story to it and anytime I wear this jumper I'll probably tell this story.  I got it from Primark when I was in Liverpool for about £8 and I don't know the actual conversion rate but that is how much it was.  I came home that day to my cousin's house and she was all 'You are not going to find that jumper in your bag when you leave' so before I left me and my mum bought her the exact same jumper and on my birthday we both wore it.  The necklace was $15 from equip and here's a photo of what it looks up close.  I really like French things, well basically the Eiffel Tower.  I have no idea what the jumper actually says but I think it means something like this beautiful view.  Anyway the shorts that I'm wearing were $10 from target and i got them a few years ago, so.. and the stockings are like 50 dense or something and they were just $5 from Woolworths.   These boots- are my favourite boots ever.  I got them as a gift from my Nana a few years ago and she bought them from England, and they are actually so comfortable.  You can't tell from the photo but they are like a fury kind of material and they are quite warm. As yesterday it was freezing cold.  I'm thinking if the weather is like this on Christmas Day/Boxing Day I'll wear this to whatever dinner/lunch celebration we are going to.  I also don't know what I'm doing for new years yet, so I should probably go looking into that.
Thank you for reading xx

Gilles Street Markets

So I decided to make this blog because I wanted to post my clothing finds and things that I'm planning on creating because I am getting a sewing machine for Christmas, and it is going to become my life.  So a little bit about me: My name is Kate, and I'm into all things arty and creative.  I want to be a journalist one day, and move to England. I currently live in Adelaide, and I'm only just finished year ten.  I have a lot of time before I'm going to be making myself a name.  I also really like clothes and fashion, and I tend to like unique clothes and looks, and I like cardigans, scarfs, and floral things.  I have too many shoes and I like shorts with tights and long socks.

Yesterday was the last Gilles Street Markets for the year and I wanted to post what I bought and stuff.  I also really need a new camera, so sorry for the dodgy quality and when I have the time to save up for a new one I shall start using lookbook, but for now we can go on with my mobile quality.

I bought this jacket from one of the second hand stall where everything was either $5 or $10, and they were selling these cute white boots for about $2 but with my mother's advice I shall never buy second hand shoes in case of diseases and such. This jacket was only $5 and I thought it was amazing, cause when I was on holiday in England I saw a jacket like this in new look and they were selling it for around $50 and I just thought this was an amazing buy.

The brand was something I had never heard of something like "Sisely's" but it could be a well known brand.

I  also bought a cardigan for $15 dollars, and I really liked the stall that I bought it from but the guy there was giving me dodgy looks so I didn't really feel like he deserved to be given money. I really wanted a plain white cardigan but I think this is better.
It was from target and it had a little bit of a stain on the collar, but I fell in love with it and could not put it down.  The photo on the left is pretty bad quality but I just wanted to show what the pattern was like.  I would wear this with denim shorts over the top of tights, and maybe a scarf but I don't have a scarf that would go with this.
I think it's also really funny that i bought wintry things and it's nearly the middle of summer although that it was raining yesterday and me and Monique were waiting for the tram and got rained on.  So I bought this top from the same stall as the first jacket for again  only $5. I didn't fall in love with it like the other two tops but I just needed something I would like with the left over money I had, but I really like the pattern, because you know florals are like my thing and the jumper from target is also florals.

I also bought this necklace for $3 and I just thought it was amazing and I could not put it down.  You can't exactly see with the photo but it has got old coins and crystal-like stones on it. I love things like this, just because it is so unique and everything.

I cannot wait for Christmas for my sewing machine and all my new clothes, I cannot wait!  Merry Christmas and thanks for reading xx
